Written by We started the year with some people who are no more here. God has kept us not because we are better than them. His grace has been more than enough for us even when we did not deserve it. Thank Him for everything including the things you do not even have yet.
- Let’s ask the Lord to take away any spirit of laziness and excuses, He should help and prepare us for the harvest.
- Like Jesus we should be compassionate about the sheep. Let’s pray that He gives us the ability to help them, the sheep that is.
- Matthew 9:36: “When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.”
- Instead of praying for the Lord to send more workers, we should rather ask Him to make those of us in the church the workers, remove every impediment in our lives and equip us to be fully ready for the harvest.
- Matthew 9:38: “Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
