Written by Focus for Day 14: The Holy Ghost at work in us.
Today marks the last day of our fasting, but not the last day of our 31/31 prayers!
- I want us to lift of up thanksgiving unto God for giving us the strength to fast the past 2 Weeks. Let us also thank Him for hearing us and already thank Him that He has done what we have asked for. When we thank God in advance even though we do not see it yet, it shows that we have faith. Faith is the “material” God needs to bring what we have prayed for into manifestation.
Psalms 100:4-5: ”Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation.“
- In order to be unleashed, tranformed to transform and posses the nation or even just influence our surroundings, we need to die to self. Our flesh needs to die in order for the Holy Spirit to fully take over.
Galatians 2:20: ”My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.“
- Let us pray that we will allow the Holy Spirit to be at work in us, to both will and do. That He will continue to grant us the strength to do what He tells us to do. May He also create a desire in us to do what pleases Him.
Philippians 2:13: ”For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.“
- Lastly, pray over your mind and tear down any stronghold, and mindset not of the Lord. Anything that hinders transformation in your mind, for it all starts with the mind. Transformation happens in the mind first, then in you and then around you.
2 Corinthians 10:5: ”We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ.“
