Prayer and Fasting, Day 4 – Preparing for the Harvest

1. Pray for compassion (Matt: 9:36)
   Jesus had compassion and recognised that the crowd needed help. By the grace of God, we know and have identified that the world needs Jesus. Let’s pray, asking God to fill us up with his compassion to approach the lost sheep.
2. Pray for an increase of the love of Christ in us.
   Jesus had love for the lost crowd, this led a heavy burden on his heart to direct them toward the right path. Let’s pray that the love of Christ will fuel us to reach out our hand to the world to come to Christ.
3. Prayer to be filled with the Holy Spirit (Act 2:1-13)
   The disciples received an increase in strength when they received the Holy Spirit. Let’s pray that we will grow in the Spirit. Without the presence of the Holy Spirit, there is indeed little we can do.
4. Pray for Win City Church to be well established and grow (John 4:35)
   Whole heartedly, pray for the church in Win City, as the work is huge. Pray that the Lord will strengthen His appointees in building His church.

May the good Lord grant us wisdom in harvesting for His glory!
