I waited until I could afford it, and the more I waited, the less I could afford.&#8221; Then he added, &#8221; tithing is not how you spend what&#8217;s left. It&#8217;s how you get to what&#8217;s next.&#8221; The young man laughed, but the words landed. He had been standing outside a door the whole time, not realising the tithe was the handle. He started that same month and never looked back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Key Scriptures<\/strong><br><br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Genesis%2014%3A20&amp;version=NKJV\">Genesis 14:20<\/a><em> &#8220;And blessed be God Most High, Who has delivered your enemies into your hand.\u201d And he gave him [a]a tithe of all.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Malachi%203%3A10&amp;version=NKJV\">Malachi 3:10<\/a> <em>&#8220;Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this,&#8221; says the Lord of hosts, &#8220;If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>REFLECTION<\/strong><br>Last Wednesday at Bible Study, we spent some time discussing why we should tithe. Yesterday, our National Head also touched on the same topic. My hope is that this devotional series will help us gain a deeper understanding together.<br>Abraham had just won a supernatural military victory. No one told him to tithe. No law existed. No church had a budget. Yet his first move after the win was to give 10% to Melchizedek, the priest of God Most High. Why? Because his faith recognized greatness. He knew who deserved the honour.<br>That is the origin of the tithe. Not a tax like we have in Switzerland. Not some fundraising scheme. A faith response. Abraham saw God move and said, &#8220;10% of all of this belongs to You.&#8221; It was worship in financial form, no music needed\u2026just money.<br>God\u2019s invitation in Malachi is extraordinary: &#8220;Try Me.&#8221; That is the only place in Scripture where God invites us to test Him. He is so confident in what happens when we tithe that He says go ahead, put Me to the test. The tithe is not about the church\u2019s budget. It is about your trust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>PRAYER DECLARATION<\/strong><br>Lord, I choose to trust You with my finances today. What I have came from You, and I return the first 10% as an act of worship. I believe You are faithful and I step into the test with confidence. <br><br>Amen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-gutena-tab gutena-tab-block gutena-tab-block-7c884e-cd inactive\" data-tab=\"2\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>ES GING NIE UMS GELD<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ein junger Mann sagte einmal zu seinem Pastor: \u201eIch werde anfangen, den Zehnten zu geben, sobald ich es mir leisten kann.\u201c Der Pastor l\u00e4chelte und antwortete: \u201eDiese Strategie habe ich auch einmal ausprobiert. Ich wartete, bis ich es mir leisten konnte \u2013 und je l\u00e4nger ich wartete, desto weniger konnte ich es mir leisten.\u201c Dann f\u00fcgte er hinzu: \u201eDen Zehnten zu geben bedeutet nicht, aus dem zu geben, was \u00fcbrig bleibt. Es ist der Schritt, der dich in das f\u00fchrt, was als N\u00e4chstes kommt.\u201c Der junge Mann lachte, doch die Worte trafen ihn. Die ganze Zeit hatte er vor einer verschlossenen T\u00fcr gestanden, ohne zu erkennen, dass der Zehnte der T\u00fcrgriff war. Noch im selben Monat begann er, den Zehnten zu geben \u2013 und blickte nie mehr zur\u00fcck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>BIBELSTELLEN<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bibleserver.com\/LUT.SLT\/1.Mose14%2C20\">1. Mose 14,20<\/a><\/strong> <em>\u201eUnd gelobt sei Gott, der H\u00f6chste, der deine Feinde in deine Hand gegeben hat! Und Abram gab ihm den Zehnten von allem.\u201c<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bibleserver.com\/LUT.SLT\/Maleachi3%2C10\">Maleachi 3,10<\/a><\/strong> <em>\u201eBringt den ganzen Zehnten in das Vorratshaus, damit Nahrung in meinem Haus ist. Pr\u00fcft mich doch dadurch, spricht der HERR der Heerscharen, ob ich euch dann nicht die Fenster des Himmels \u00f6ffne und Segen im \u00dcberma\u00df auf euch ausgie\u00dfe.\u201c<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>REFLEXION<\/strong><br><strong><br><\/strong>Letzten Mittwoch haben wir uns im Bibelstudium Zeit genommen, dar\u00fcber nachzudenken, warum wir den Zehnten geben sollten. Gestern hat auch unser Nationalleiter dieses Thema aufgegriffen. Ich hoffe, dass uns diese Andachtsreihe hilft, gemeinsam ein tieferes Verst\u00e4ndnis daf\u00fcr zu gewinnen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Abraham hatte gerade einen \u00fcbernat\u00fcrlichen milit\u00e4rischen Sieg errungen. Niemand sagte ihm, dass er den Zehnten geben m\u00fcsse. Es gab noch kein Gesetz. Keine Gemeinde hatte ein Budget. Und doch war seine erste Reaktion nach dem Sieg, zehn Prozent an Melchisedek, den Priester des h\u00f6chsten Gottes, zu geben. Warum? Weil sein Glaube Gottes Gr\u00f6\u00dfe erkannte. Er wusste, wem die Ehre geb\u00fchrte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Darin liegt der Ursprung des Zehnten. Er ist keine Steuer, wie wir sie in der Schweiz kennen. Er ist auch kein Mittel zur Finanzierung einer Gemeinde. Er ist eine Antwort des Glaubens. Abraham sah Gottes Eingreifen und sagte: \u201eZehn Prozent von allem geh\u00f6ren Dir.\u201c Es war Anbetung in finanzieller Form \u2013 ganz ohne Musik, sondern durch sein Geben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gottes Einladung in Maleachi ist au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnlich: \u201ePr\u00fcft mich.\u201c Es ist die einzige Stelle in der Bibel, an der Gott uns auffordert, Ihn auf die Probe zu stellen. Er ist so sicher \u00fcber das, was geschieht, wenn wir den Zehnten geben, dass Er sagt: \u201eVersucht es. Stellt mich auf die Probe.\u201c Beim Zehnten geht es nicht um das Budget der Gemeinde, sondern um dein Vertrauen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>GEBETSBEKENNTNIS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Herr, heute entscheide ich mich, Dir mit meinen Finanzen zu vertrauen. Alles, was ich habe, kommt von Dir, und ich gebe Dir die ersten zehn Prozent als Ausdruck meiner Anbetung zur\u00fcck. Ich glaube, dass Du treu bist, und ich trete voller Zuversicht in diese Glaubenspr\u00fcfung ein. <br><br>Amen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-gutena-tab gutena-tab-block gutena-tab-block-af9a87-17 inactive\" data-tab=\"3\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0\"><strong>IL N&#8217;A JAMAIS \u00c9T\u00c9 QUESTION D&#8217;ARGENT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0\">Un jeune homme dit un jour \u00e0 son pasteur : \u00ab Je commencerai \u00e0 donner la d\u00eeme lorsque j&#8217;en aurai les moyens. \u00bb Le pasteur lui sourit et r\u00e9pondit : \u00ab J&#8217;ai essay\u00e9 cette strat\u00e9gie moi aussi. J&#8217;ai attendu jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 ce que je puisse me le permettre, et plus j&#8217;attendais, moins je le pouvais. \u00bb Puis il ajouta : \u00ab La d\u00eeme ne consiste pas \u00e0 donner ce qu&#8217;il reste. C&#8217;est le pas qui te conduit vers ce que Dieu a pr\u00e9par\u00e9 pour la suite. \u00bb Le jeune homme rit, mais ces paroles touch\u00e8rent son c\u0153ur. Pendant tout ce temps, il se tenait devant une porte sans se rendre compte que la d\u00eeme en \u00e9tait la poign\u00e9e. Il commen\u00e7a \u00e0 donner la d\u00eeme ce mois-l\u00e0 et ne revint jamais en arri\u00e8re.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Passages bibliques cl\u00e9s<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Gen%C3%A8se%2014%3A20&amp;version=LSG\">Gen\u00e8se 14:20<\/a><\/strong> <em>\u00ab B\u00e9ni soit le Dieu Tr\u00e8s-Haut, qui a livr\u00e9 tes ennemis entre tes mains ! \u00bb Et Abram lui donna la d\u00eeme de tout.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Malachie%203%3A10&amp;version=LSG;SG21;BDS\"><strong>Malachie 3:10<\/strong> <\/a><em>\u00ab Apportez toutes les d\u00eemes \u00e0 la maison du tr\u00e9sor, afin qu&#8217;il y ait de la nourriture dans ma maison. Mettez-moi de la sorte \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9preuve, dit l&#8217;\u00c9ternel des arm\u00e9es, et vous verrez si je n&#8217;ouvre pas pour vous les \u00e9cluses des cieux et si je ne r\u00e9pands pas sur vous la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction en abondance. \u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>R\u00c9FLEXION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mercredi dernier, lors de notre \u00e9tude biblique, nous avons pris du temps pour r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir aux raisons pour lesquelles nous donnons la d\u00eeme. Hier, notre responsable national a \u00e9galement abord\u00e9 ce sujet. J&#8217;esp\u00e8re que cette s\u00e9rie de m\u00e9ditations nous permettra d&#8217;approfondir ensemble notre compr\u00e9hension.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Abraham venait de remporter une victoire militaire surnaturelle. Personne ne lui avait demand\u00e9 de donner la d\u00eeme. La Loi n&#8217;existait pas encore. Aucune \u00e9glise n&#8217;avait de budget. Pourtant, son premier geste apr\u00e8s cette victoire fut de donner dix pour cent \u00e0 Melchis\u00e9dek, le pr\u00eatre du Dieu Tr\u00e8s-Haut. Pourquoi ? Parce que sa foi reconnaissait la grandeur de Dieu. Il savait \u00e0 qui revenait l&#8217;honneur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Voil\u00e0 l&#8217;origine de la d\u00eeme. Ce n&#8217;est pas un imp\u00f4t, comme ceux que nous connaissons en Suisse. Ce n&#8217;est pas non plus un moyen de financer l&#8217;\u00c9glise. C&#8217;est une r\u00e9ponse de foi. Abraham a vu Dieu agir et a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 : \u00ab Dix pour cent de tout cela T&#8217;appartiennent. \u00bb C&#8217;\u00e9tait un acte d&#8217;adoration exprim\u00e9 par ses ressources \u2013 sans musique, simplement par son offrande.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L&#8217;invitation de Dieu dans Malachie est extraordinaire : \u00ab Mettez-moi \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9preuve. \u00bb C&#8217;est le seul endroit dans les \u00c9critures o\u00f9 Dieu invite son peuple \u00e0 Le tester. Il est tellement certain de ce qui se produit lorsque nous donnons la d\u00eeme qu&#8217;Il dit : \u00ab Allez-y, mettez-Moi \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9preuve. \u00bb La d\u00eeme ne concerne pas le budget de l&#8217;\u00c9glise ; elle concerne votre confiance en Dieu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0\"><strong>D\u00c9CLARATION DE PRI\u00c8RE<br><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0\">Seigneur, aujourd&#8217;hui je choisis de Te faire confiance avec mes finances. Tout ce que je poss\u00e8de vient de Toi, et je Te rends les premiers dix pour cent comme un acte d&#8217;adoration.
